Youth With a Mission is a highly de-centralized global missionary society united by common values and a commitment to complete the Great Commission. All YWAM operating locations have their own local legal boards to whom they are accountable and look to for guidance and direction.
YWAM/Discovery Bay Camp currently has eight board members.
Ron Boehme is the president and founder of YWAM/Discovery Bay Camp. He has served in Youth With a Mission since 1974. He is also the president and director of Youth With A Mission Port Orchard.
T. Larson and his wife are the current directors of YWAM Discovery Bay Camp. They led YWAM Kings Kids in the area for many years and continue to serve KKI in an international capacity.
Ed Madden served as secretary-treasurer of the of the Discovery Bay Camp Foundation board for many years and currently works as an administrator for Group Health Cooperative, Seattle, Washington.
Dan Martin is a Gig Harbor businessman who is the owner of Dan Martin Construction, and who has served on both the Port Orchard and Discovery Bay Boards since 1995.
Miles Musick is a long-time YWAM leader who founded and is currently the president of New Beginnings Home and YWAM Adoption Ministries located in Puyallup, Washington.
Glen Neville served on the Discovery Bay Camp Foundation board for a number of years. He is the son of Garold and Barbara Neville who owned and developed the camp beginning in the 1930s.
Duane Sabin was pastor of Kingston Christian Church for forty years. He has also served on the YWAM Port Orchard board from 2003-2006.
Karsten Solheim is a long-time friend of Discovery Bay Camp and served on the board for many years. He is currently the president of the Solheim Foundation located in Phoenix, Arizona.
