DISCOVER our beautiful world
Discovery Bay Camp & Missions Center is an eight acre property nestled on a bluff at the northern tip of Puget Sound, overlooking Discovery Bay--the first inlet discovered by English explorer George Vancouver in 1791--and named after his ship. The Camp has a gorgeous view of the Olympic Mountains, a private, pristine beach access, soccer fields, wooded area—and is only four miles from the quaint Victorian town of Port Townsend. It is close to fishing and hiking; Discovery Bay Golf Course is around the corner; it is fifteen minutes from scenic Hood Canal, and a short ferry ride from Seattle via Kingston. It was formerly a dairy farm, a Bible Camp that began with tent meetings in the 1930s—and now a YWAM center in the Pacific Northwest.

Our facilities are newly refurbished and include a 200-seat auditorium--great for larger meetings and activities, a 70-seat chapel-training center, dining hall, men and women’s dorms, four hospitality cabins, an outdoor basketball court, and soccer fields. We have 75 comfortable beds, six RV hook-ups, and room for tents galore! We are open to large and small groups for year-round retreats or conferences, and summer camping programs— at affordable prices. Whether it's strolling on the beach, worshipping in the Tabernacle, or having a rousing game of volleyball, Discovery Bay Camp is a great place for personal renewal and making new friends.
DISCOVER God and His call on your life
He's actually our GREATEST ATTRACTION. Besides camps, we offer Summer and Spring King’s Kids Camps and a place for summer missions programs for youth groups that want to know Him and make Him known. Every fall we operate a five-six month Discipleship Training School for those interested in growing their faith. We hold a course in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) each spring. Now we are developing courses related to Frontier Missions and offer Missions Internships. Many training courses offer credits toward a degree with YWAM's global university—the University of the Nations. We want you to know the great God of the universe who loves you, died for you, and has a plan for your life.
